Almond Chocolate Mini Donuts

Enjoy these chocolate mini donut holes any day of the week. No need to feel guilty, these donuts are easy on the eyes and the carb count. Not to mention, they are topped with crushed almonds and our sugar-free chocolate icing.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Grease a mini-donut pan.
  • Whisk together coconut flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl.  Set aside.  In a separate medium bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, and eggs until well blended.  Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just blended.
  • Spoon into prepared donut pan, filling each cup about 2/3 full.  Bake 15 minutes, until tops spring back when touched.
  • Frost, if desired, when completely cooled.
  • Topping  Dairy-Free Chocolate Frosting (optional)
