Let’s be honest with each other…
Fall is not the only time I love me some fried apples. I could eat fried apples any day of the week. Of course, when fall get’s here, there is something about apples that just sets the mood and welcomes fall into your home. Five years ago, I had to figure out a way to make these apples without all the additives, such as, white sugar, caramel and anything else that makes these apples take like they came straight from heaven.
Changing the way we look at food is not always easy, but when we make a choice to say, I’m willing to try we allow our bodies the chance to recognize real food and it’s real taste. The thing I love the most about these apples is that you get to enjoy the simple taste of the nature sweetener these apples already provide. For many of us we add processed sugar and additives to help with the taste, but I promise this dish needs none of that!
Just dump these three simple ingredients into a skillet and enjoy the simple taste of this simple fruit we all love. The apple.
Enjoy,
Tara
