Spicy Bean Soup

September 28, 2020

Welcome  Y’all!

Thanks for dropping by and thank you for checking out this Spicy Bean Soup!

I think it deserves a little praise considering it is packed full of protein and nutrients. I have been talking a lot about kale, lately. It’s a food that is extremely popular right now an for good reason! You can ready any of my post that  have kale in the recipe and find out the reasons you should be adding it into your everyday eating habits. Bottom line…You can’t go wrong with adding it to just about any food you create! I love to put it in soups, eat raw as a salad and add to any breakfast casserole I plan on making.  JUST ADD KALE!!

During the winter time there is a need for hot soups. It warms the soul and fills the belly. If you make a soup the right (healthy) way you can pack it full of the nutrients your body needs to keep running throughout the day and not to mention the long term positives of eating with real foods, even in soup! It’s not just the chicken broth that warms you up, it gains help from the spicy sausage. The two are a perfect match for a cool day!

LET’S NOT FORGET THE BEANS!!!

WHITE BEANS- BEANS AND LEGUMES ARE SOME OF THE MOST UNDERRATED FOODS ON THE PLANET. THEY ARE EXCELLENT SOURCES OF DIETARY FIBER, PROTEIN, B VITAMINS AND MANY OTHER IMPORTANT VITAMINS AND MINERALS. THERE IS GOOD EVIDENCE THAT THEY CAN HELP REDUCE BLOOD SUGAR, IMPROVE CHOLESTEROL LEVELS AND HELP MAINTAIN A HEALTHY GUT.

The soup is 100% freezer-friendly. I always make sure to make an extra large pot so that I can save some in the the freezer using my Food Savor Storage bags!
