Hey Friends It’s Thanksgiving Week!!
What are your plans for the holiday’s? I know this year is tough for just about everyone. Family gatherings are limited, Christmas shopping is all online, so unsure of what the future looks like. The one thing that can stay the same, is the foods we grew up on, reminding us all of the fond memories we had gathered in the kitchen or around the table.
For that I have so much to be grateful for, this year, especially!
It’s funny how we look at cranberry sauce as something we only eat around the holidays, but these superfood antioxidants should be consumed more than just once or twice a year. Most people are used to the original recipe. Water, cranberries and white sugar. How can we have this dish and cut out all the processed sugars?? I want you to have this recipe, because eating healthy doesn’t mean we have to quit eating the things we love, we just have to look at it a little different when we make it.
WHY CRANBERRIES
- research has linked the nutrients in cranberries to a lower risk of urinary tract infection
- prevention of certain types of cancer
- improved immune function
- decreased blood pressure
Even though we are not making New Year’s Resolution’s just yet, why not start now by ditching the processed sugar and take the foods you love and make them a healthy version the whole family will love! NEW FOOD, NEW YOU!!
Happy Thanksgiving!
