How I lost 8lbs with Beachbody: 21 Day Fix is seriously a title I was against using!
I feel like anytime you read a title like that, you find some get small quick scam. Let me be honest, I had to use this title! It’s the truth! Loosing 5lbs in 21 days, wasn’t something that came quick or easy. Do you ever wonder why you eat healthy and still no difference in weight loss? Well, I have and I’m here to tell you all about why many of us try to eat right and never shed pounds.
For the past five years, my family and I have been living the Paleo lifestyle. Eating and cooking with clean foods and real ingredients. This is not something that magically happened over time. This lifestyle was something that took time, commitment and accountability. When my daughter was diagnosed with type one diabetes at the age 3, we researched anything and everything that had to do with food. We came across Paleo and we haven’t looked back. Eating Paleo has changed our lives. We have more energy, better digestion, better sleep and less bloating and nausea. The one thing I couldn’t seem to do was loose the weight I had gained from having three amazing kiddos.
I tell people all the time, I’m not trying to look like I’m 20yrs. old again or have the prefect figure, but I do want to be healthy on the inside and outside. With years of working out, inconsistently, mainly because I have a strong HATRED for everyday cardio! Cardio videos was all I could find with free amazon prime or YouTube. If I found something that had any type of weights it was always so intense that I couldn’t walk for a week. The past 6 months I have been following a girl on Instagram that was always posting about Beachbody. No sooner than I started see the post she was sharing, I started to see it everywhere! Finally, I decided it was time to give it a try.
DAY 7 DAY 7
You won’t believe what happened next…
I signed up for Beachbody 3 month free trial and decided before I bought into any challenge packs that I would first have to complete a program and see results. My family was already eating healthy, but as the years went by exercise started to be that missing element in the back of my head that I just couldn’t conquer. That’s when I decided to sign up and commit to giving it everything I had. Committing to exercise each day.
I had to figure out how to fit it into my schedule, because my days were already busy. I decided to hold myself accountable, I would share my progress with my Facebook followers. This was something so huge for me. What if I didn’t see results, what if I hated the program and quit before I even got started and the worst part, sharing a before picture of all the things that made me feel insecure. It was time to do it and there was no turning back!
Where am I at now…
I’m sitting here writing you to tell you I completed the 21 day fix. In 21 days I lost 8lbs! This isn’t a scam! You can see it in my before and after pictures. The best part it doesn’t stop there! My followers were encouraging me and joining in on the workouts and goal setting that I decided to keep going and I was definitely going ALL in!
I am officially part of the Beachbody Team! I purchased my challenge pack and can’t wait to see what all is in it! I’m not righting this post to show off my results, but to encourage you to get started! This blog is filled with healthy recipes, I have already done the hard part for you! Now it’s time to get moving. There are so many elements to healthy living and eating right, working out, vitamins and personal reflection all go hand and hand. If we had more time to talk, we would probably find our stories are very similar. I’m here to help encourage you and in hopes that in return you will encourage me!
