When ready to bake, thaw overnight in the refrigerator and bake according to the recipe instructions.

Helpful Tips
- Use cooked rice. Uncooked rice won’t have enough time to cook in the oven.
- Choose peppers that stand upright. They’ll be easier to fill and serve.
- Don’t overbake. The peppers should be tender while still holding their shape.
- Make it your own. Stir chopped spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, or shredded carrots into the filling for extra vegetables.
- Double the recipe. Since you’re already making homemade meat sauce, assemble an extra pan for the freezer.
