Say goodbye to dry and flavorless pork chops. With a few simple tricks, you can make juicy and tender pork chops with very little fuss. I love how juicy these are!
I was given an air-fryer last year for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I would say I use it at least 2-3 times a week. The best part about the air-fryer is that there is minimal mess, quick cooking and leaves thing tasting delicious.
Most of the time, we don’t get very excited over pork chops. Often overdone, they come out dry, sad, and flavorless. The air fryer changes all that. These get coated in a delicious seasoning and cooked with a garlic butter and the quick cooking time in the air fryer ensures they don’t dry out. It’s dinner in an instant.
Tips for cooking air fried pork chops
Can I use frozen pork chops? It would be better to fully defrost them first before air frying to ensure they cook all the way through.
Do I need to spray oil on the air fryer basket? I didn’t do that with my air fryer but check the manual for your specific model to see what they recommend.
Can I use bone in pork chops? Yes you can, the cooking time may vary.
I want to layer the pork chops to fit more in, can I do that? No, you need to air fry them in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
Here are just a few other air-fryer recipes to check out!

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Coat the pork chops with Mrs. Dash seasoning, salt and pepper. Place pork chops in air-fryer.
- In a separate bowl mix the butter and 1/2 tsp garlic salt.
- Place one teaspoon of butter mixture on top of each pork chop. Place your air-fryer on 365 degrees for 18 minutes. Make sure to flip half way through. Your chops should register 150 to 160 degrees.
Notes
I like to check the temperature at 16 minutes just to see where they are at in temperature. You don’t want to over-cook and depending on size, boneless or bone-in can make a difference.
